Looking Forward to Version 4.1


So, Version 3.1 is now LIVE here on itch.io, with an update to GameJolt coming as soon as all the packages can download. As you can see from the changelog published yesterday, there was a LOT of stuff done...but I'm not finished yet! My plan is to get caught up on my Patreon releases and schedule everything that I will need to put out between now and February, then dive into the third expansion over the holidays.

Now, I wanna talk a little about that next update, titled "Doorways".

I still have about twenty quests left to go, including the conclusion of the main storyline with two more quests: "Threads" and "The Broken". I'll also be unlocking the floodgates with eight new quests revolving around the Eloin, and finishing up a couple more character storylines. Even more exciting, the next update will finally introduce the long-awaited "Sledgehammer" and "Crowbar" tools, meaning all those pesky rocks and sealed doors will no longer impede the party's explorations! The addition of the new quests and tools means that the world is going to get a LOT bigger for you; as of right now I have EIGHT (!) new areas which will be accessible, some of which will even rival the Trabunco Mountains in size. These areas will mostly be geared towards higher level / end game play, so you can expect to see enemies all the way up to Level 95 wandering around soon!

As I'm working through all these big changes, I'll keep on doing playtests, and I expect I will have a bunch more general fixes and adjustments to characters, enemies, and gear as time goes on.
