There are a ton of big changes in this one, so be sure to check it out!

There are currently eight (8) Eloin who can be tracked down, and depending on which path you have chosen some will join you freely, others will fight you, and some will give you quests to perform in exchange for their aid. These will be among the toughest quests in the game, but completing them will affect the ending!
  • -Changes to Existing Quests
    • The Hunter’s Guild Quest “A Colossal Undertaking” can now be started when Nolan reaches Level 40 (Previously Level 45).
      • All preceding quests in the Hunter’s Guild questline still need to have been completed prior to beginning this one.
    • The player will no longer be prevented from leaving Bradospa during Corbett’s storyline quest “Bandits in Bradospa”.
  • -New Areas Opened:
    • Party can now enter the Gibasca Caverns
      • Once the party has returned from Mateyo, the party will be able to gain access to the Gibasca Caverns. While the enemies in the cavern are of a level consistent with those outside, a powerful enemy is waiting in the depths of the cave (Boss Level 85). Be careful!
    • Party can now enter The Hive

    • Party can now enter Oca Rongo
    • Party can now enter Tierra’s Pillar
      • Exterior area will be accessible from the start of the game; however, the enemies will likely be too strong for most parties the first time passing through this area. (Enemy Level 80)
        • Once the party has started the quest “The Seed of Death”, they will be able to access the interior areas of Tierra’s Pillar.
    • Party can now enter Kanolo Ruins Basement
      • Initial area will be accessible once the party reaches Mateyo for the first time; however, players will need Nyla in the party as well as a “Crowbar” to access it.
      • Certain parts of the basement will be inaccessible until after the main story quest “Death” is completed.

      • Now heals for [User’s M. Attack] * [2] with a 20% variable
    • The skill “Healing Mist” now correctly targets all allies
    • The skill “Banish” is no longer subject to miss chance or reflect
    • Karmic Strike
      • Damage calculation has been tweaked (again!)…now deals damage equal to [how much HP the user is missing] + [2x the user’s Luck stat].
      • No enemy defense applies to the damage for this ability, but it has a 20% variable rate of damage (If user is missing 1000 HP and has a 250 Luck, the attack will deal somewhere between 1000 and 1500 HP damage).

      • I SWEAR I’m gonna get this ability to where I’m happy with it…!
    • The “stacking” HP Regen effect should now work correctly for the following skills:
      • Regenerate
      • Vivify
      • Glow Dust
  • -General Changes / Bug Fixes
    • Critical Bug Fixed - Fixed a bug where the party would occasionally get stuck when beginning the “Icarus” quest, requiring a reset of the game.
    • Critical Bug Fixed - Fixed a bug caused by talking to Carmen in ScavMore, then going to Yuramayo Caverns on foot without her.
    • Critical Bug Fixed - Fixed a bug where players cannot max out their Deadhander Rep if they help the Escaped Convict or Deliver Zebulon’s Letter to Amelia before showing the Broken Pincer to the Checkpoint Guard.
      • This is not a bug that could be fixed in such a way as to address existing files…I am truly sorry (this is the first time I have not been able to retroactively “adjust” files which had bugs in them).
    • Critical Bug Fixed - Fixed a bug where players cannot advance Nyla’s storyline if they complete the “Jailbreak” quest before completing “Profit Margins, Pt. 1”.
      • Players will no longer be able to complete the “Jailbreak” quest until after they have looted Jellumaray with Nyla…once ScavMore has its first new shipment, the quest will be able to progress as normal.
      • Once again, this is not a bug that could be fixed in such a way as to address existing files…I really hate that I was unable to devise a workaround as of yet.
    • New Environmental Hazard
      • Glowroot – Certain areas of The Deadlands are home to Glowroot, an underground fungus which absorbs radiation from its environment and concentrates it in spores which are released when the fungus is disturbed.
        • Walking through squares adjacent to Glowroot will temporarily cause “Nausea” in all party members who are not immune to the status.
    • Fixed a bug where the player would be unable to tear down the bounty notice for Supply and Demand XV (Gathering Four Soul Lanterns for the Sleepy Man in Bradospa).
    • Nanshe’s statues in Yuramayo Cavern (B1 only) and Tierra’s Pillar now glow faintly.
    • Made minor changes to the dialogue when Allan first meets Nolan and Bridget.
    • Made minor changes to the dialogue when Nolan and Co. first meet Zach and Casey
    • Zach and Casey no longer offer commentary in Pedregal Springs if “The Runaway Crook” has begun but they are not in the party yet.
      • Additionally, the player can no longer game the system into letting Nolan battle Nemo without Zach and Casey in the party.
      • This would lead to a means of having them permanently join the party by completing the quest before talking to them a second time.
    • The Treehugger Outcast will now talk about “the past”, “the future”, and “Nolan”.
      • Exploring each option will yield a strange riddle which leads the party to a powerful weapon.
    • The Old Priest’s dialogue when you activate the tablet in Coluna’s church has changed.
    • Fixed a minor error that caused the player to “step back” twice in Zephyr Airways when asking about Nathan during “The Lost Prototypes”.
    • Carmen now gives the party the following items” when beginning her first quest (A Mercenary’s Heart):
      • Homemade Stealthgen x3
      • Unstable Battery x2
    • Mr. Atwood no longer seems not to know you under certain circumstances.
    • The player can no longer climb over the table or into the walls in the J. Green Dragon’s lair in Old Panavinto.
    • The player can no longer get onto the roof of the large building in Ensenada (North).
    • Gregory no longer blurts out minor spoilers if the party enters Rieldara Valley before going to Mateyo.
    • Fixed more spots where the player can climb onto tables, counters, etc.
    • Pushed the “Distant Deadlands” starting area a little further east of Pedregal Springs so new players don’t get eaten (as often).
    • Increased traffic across much of the Deadlands has created more well-defined paths linking the sections of old road which still remain. In most parts of the country, enemies will not attack you on these natural trails. Notable exceptions include Steel Legion troops inside their territory, and the roads east of Pedregal Springs (which are still rarely travelled).
    • Upon returning from Mateyo, Gregory moves to Nolan and Bridget’s kitchen.
    • Matla now spends her time in Pedregal Springs at the old bus stop (instead of inside the abandoned parking garage).
    • Various minor changes to dialogue for continuity purposes
    • Added more Camps to be discovered
      • Disciples’ Camp
        • When they aren’t dominating the Battler’s Dungeon with their squad of custom ‘bots, the Disciples of Poison can be found here.
          • Talking to the various Disciples around the camp can yield a challenging battle for low-level players (with a 6000 Volt prize on the line) or an early opportunity to buy Deadhander gear (at an inflated price).
      • Fisherman’s Retreat
        • An old, abandoned fisherman’s hut which can be found along a secluded bit of coastline.
    • Added more locked containers for Stark to open
    • Added more locations to use your tools
    • New usable tools
      • Sledgehammer
        • Can be used to smash strange looking rocks (and other stuff…?)
      • Pipe Wrench
        • Can be used to repair / take apart heavy machinery
        • Can be used to disassemble old generators (yields Industrial Batteries)
      • Crowbar
        • Can be used to force open certain doors
