Patch is Uploaded!


Hello everyone! The Ver 1.2 Patch is now LIVE!

Previously, I had hoped to begin using a new combat UI and even shared some lovely screenshots showing it off, but unfortunately the plugin I was using kept causing random crashes...I tried to reach out to the creator ("Fallen Angel Olivia" here on itch.io), but she very nicely failed to leave ANY MEANS WHATSOEVER to contact her for issues with her paid content...lesson learned, I guess,

Similarly, the planned change to the combat style is also being put on hold, as people with existing save files would not have been able to utilize it without starting a whole new game :(

All other changes are listed below, as well as in the updated README file...Enjoy, and get ready for the first VERSION 2.1 UPDATE, planned for July of this year!

-- Monster stat rebalancing
--- All monsters now have updated stat progressions and tweaked exp values

--Changes to Yuramayo Cavern
--- Pugil Crabs no longer appear randomly in the Yuramayo Cavern (1st Floor)
--- Zanghera x3 no longer appear randomly in the Yuramayo Cavern (1st Floor)
--- Deisols now appear more frequently in the Yuramayo Cavern (1st Floor)
--- New Boss Fight: Cave Crab appears when "Busted SMG" is found

--Changes to Battlers' Dungeon
--- Players may no longer use the barracks for free unless they have the "Member's Pass" key item
--- "Programmer's Primer" key item can now be used from the menu screen to get descriptions of all system errors

-- Victory Screen Updated
--- New victory aftermath screen
--- Shows all information on a single screen, rather than using multiple text windows

-- Skill "Eye for Detail" Updated
--- Used to cost 16AP and would increase the party's Crit Chance by 25%
--- Now costs 8AP and randomly reveals one weakness of an enemy

-- Encounter Rate Tweaked
--- Player can now safely walk farther before encountering an enemy
--- Allows for higher rate of recovery from "timed" status effects lingering after combat

-- Level Up Tweaks
--- Calculation that determines exp requirement for leveling has been tweaked
---- NOTE: Players will have to spend time "catching up" with new exp requirements before gaining additional levels
--- Characters now fully recover HP/AP immediately upon leveling

-- Tileset Fixes
--- The player can no longer walk over certain objects in the TechTown garage (Pedregal Springs)
--- The player can no longer walk over certain objects in the Ruined House (Old Panavinto Outskirts)

-- Passive Skills Updated
--- Passive Skills no longer appear in the Skill Menu during battle
