- Additionally, the party can now reach Rieldara Lighthouse (north of valley) as well as enter the Rieldara Caves (in valley)
- Party can now enter the Tocamllo Ruins (after returning from Mateyo)
- Entering the ruins from the east will allow the party to access new bounty quests as well as even more Steel Legion goodies…and, some people in the barracks have said they’ve seen a pink-haired kid hanging around, too.
- Party can now enter Chusca Yacer (after returning from Mateyo)
- Located west of Pedregal Springs, the forest is home to a number of hostile spirits, and deadly insects.
- Deadhanders tell stories of an evil spirit known as the “Tallfellow” that roams the forest looking for souls to steal.
- Party can now enter Yuramayo Ruins (after returning from Mateyo)
- Players who have started Carmen’s storyline will recall that the cave they explored with her contained a bridge which was blocked by rubble…once the second act begins, they will be able to access the deeper levels of the caves, revealing a lost temple complex.
- Enemies in the temple complex are much higher in level, and the Deisols (stone soldiers) will attack much more frequently than in the caves above.
- Party can now enter the Rieldara Valley.
- -Changes to Party Members
- A bug which was preventing most characters’ passive abilities from taking effect has now been addressed
- NOLAN’S SKILL PROGRESSION HAS BEEN CHANGED. Entering the world map will remove “Power Tackle” from Nolan’s skill list, and add “Dread” (if Nolan has learned “Weaken”) and “Karmic Strike” (if Nolan has learned “Darken”).

- If Isaiah has exceeded Level 53 before the update but does NOT currently know “Knight’s Challenge”, entering the world map should cause the skill to appear.
- When joining the party (either as a guest or permanently) certain characters will now automatically gain extra levels if Nolan is at an advanced level. This ONLY affects characters who join the party at low levels, and no character will join the party at a level higher than sixty (60), regardless of Nolan’s level.
- EXAMPLE 1: Normally, Carmen is Level 10 during her first quest. If, however, the player does not undertake this quest until Nolan is Level 25, then Carmen will automatically be set to Level 20 when that quest begins.
- When Corbett joins the party, he is Level 50. If Nolan is Level 82 when Corbett joins, Corbett will REMAIN at Level 50.
- Characters affected:
- Allan
- Carmen
- Isaiah
- Nyla
- Kay
- Willard
- Elam
- For players who have already unlocked the characters above, upon entering the world map for the first time after downloading the update each of the characters listed above will gain 0-20 levels of experience to bring them closer to Nolan’s current level.
- Stark now has a “Deadhander Headband” equipped when he joins the party.

- Appearance of road tiles has changed
- The player can no longer walk through portions of the southern wall of Coluna
- The player can no longer walk through walls in the Zephyr Airways Office in Acllapata.
- Additionally, changes to event scripting should prevent the player from being able to leave the ticket area at certain points in the story.
- During the “Lost Prototypes, pt 1” freeform quest, Bridget no longer has her special dialogue in Zephyr Airways HQ after the FPEW-Fist has been located.
- During the “Lost Prototypes, pt 2” freeform quest, the armored man does not reappear if you exit and re-enter the Hunter’s Guild before retrieving the FPEW-Saber.
- Additionally, he now has unique dialogue if you speak to him after retrieving the FPEW-Saber but before returning it to the researcher at SBC.
- Fixed a critical bug which left the player trapped in a looping dialogue if they attempted to leave Pedregal Springs without Carmen upon beginning her initial storyline quest.
- Fixed a critical bug where the player could not leave Great Circle Pawn in Estancia if re-entered after completing Carmen’s second storyline quest.
- If the player chooses “Volts” upon returning from Carmen’s first quest, she will be using the salvaged “Uziel Gal” SMG at the start of her second storyline quest.
- The makeshift bridge in Yuramayo Cavern no longer appears until after the player returns from Mateyo.
- The graphical glitch on the entrances to the warehouses in Ensenada has been fixed.
- Overall appearance for Vance has been updated
- Overall appearance for Ione has been updated
- Issue with human enemies’ turn icons not displaying properly has been addressed
- The “Portable AED” item now works (revives fallen organic allies)

- This increases the number of characters that can wear it
- Stats have changed slightly as a result of this change (Def -3, M.Def-3, Agi +1)
- The “Wooden Shield” has been renamed “Scrap Shield”, and has a new description
- No changes to stats of item
- Party members’ “race” (Human, B-Type, Robot) no longer appears as part of their status

- Depending on what tools the party has at their disposal, Nyla can scavenge supplies from Pre-War technology.

- Added “Hidden Camp” Locations
- These locations will be revealed only after being entered for the first time
- There are currently eight (8) hidden camps in Marema, with more planned.
- Added “Hidden Stash” locations in multiple areas
- At times, the player may stumble across hidden stashes of goods. They are generally located in a “safe” area; presumably their owner intended to come back before journeying into the Deadlands and never did.
- Stashes contain one (1) Group HP Heal, four (4) Single AP Heal, and two (2) batteries. Tier of items is always consistent, but varies from stash to stash.
- Calculation method for multi-element attack damage has been changed
- Previously, a multi-element attack would calculate base attack power, then split the attack into equal parts and apply resistances or weaknesses to each before multiplying them to get the final damage.
- Now, a multi-element attack will calculate base attack power, then split the attack into equal parts and apply resistances or weaknesses to each before averaging them to get the final damage.
- What this means: previously, if an enemy took 1% damage from [Slash] but 200% damage from [Ice], then “Cryo Blade” would deal 2% of the normal damage. Now, the same enemy will take 100.5% damage, meaning that the 99% resistance and the 200% weakness cancel each other out, rather than weaknesses always being overridden by high resistances.
- When joining the party, Corbett now has the “Damaged Katana” equipped, rather than the “Katana”. The difference in stats is as below:
- Katana (Old Weapon) – ATT +49, AGI -6, Crit Rate +7, Crit Evasion +5
- Damaged Katana (New Weapon) – ATT +24, AGI -6, Crit Rate +2
- This change was driven by a desire to be more accurate to Corbett’s storyline, AND to ensure that the player feels as though the Otokodate Blade is a more meaningful upgrade following the Bandits in Bradospa storyline quest.
- Multi-element weapons now function correctly; previously, secondary elements were not counted when calculating damage for the weapons’ standard attacks, causing inconsistent damage vs. comparable skills.
- Added additional dialogue if the player discovers the “Broken Sword” AFTER completing “Seeking the Truth, pt. 2”
- Completing “Seeking the Truth, pt. 2” with the “Broken Sword” in the party’s possession adds similar dialogue.
- Added new dialogue when speaking to the blacksmith’s apprentice in Mateyo Village during Corbett’s first storyline quest “Forging Alliances”.
